Emma Watson Takes on Role as UN Goodwill Ambassador

Emma Watson, a renowned talent in the entertainment industry, is recognized for her aversion to controversy. Recently, she graduated from Brown University and was honored as the inaugural ambassador appointed by Deputy Secretary-General Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, who also serves as the director of the United Nations Women’s Agency.

Watson expressed in a statement that women’s rights are deeply connected to her, and she feels incredibly honored to have this new job opportunity. Ms. Mlambo-Ngcuka believes that Watson’s intelligence, passion, and experience advocating for women’s education in countries like Bangladesh and Zambia will be valuable assets in spreading the organization’s message worldwide.
